Israelite House of David - Free Parking
Free Parking
Early visitors frequently arrived to the park via trolleys. But increasing numbers arrived in their own cars and made use of the free parking lot on Britain Avenue, in front of the Diamond House. The parking lot entrance, seen here in the early 1940s, features a series of arches. This was a form of architectural symbolism of the Israelite faith, representing the joining of the 5th and 6th churches to form the 7th.
